Battlefield 3 Final Review (weeks following release)

Overall Battlefield 3 is a pretty amazing game.  It has broken many graphical and engine barriers that come with first person shooters.  That being said the game when first released was a bit glitchy.  It did not have as smooth of a release as it would have liked to have.  Although EA has been on top of there game with patch releases.  Overall it is a good game and I will play it for probably a year or 2 to come at least.  Although it feels a bit to much like Bad Company 2 instead of Battlefield 2.  I do realize that it has been many years since BF2 was released but they missed some essential things (at least on the PC version) that make it battlefield.  Those things being:

1.  A good, working, well designed Comma Rose.
2.  More customizable squads.
3.  Squad chat.  I mean really!? No in game chat!? WTF?

Even just those little things would have made the game a million times better than it already is.  And it is a great game!

I think they could make the a million times better with a few big patches implementing a few of the above mentioned things.  If they do I will more than likely devote some more time to the game.  Right now I will stick to playing with my father on occasion.  I would rate the game and overall 8.5/10.
